Prepare to be overwhelmed as we plan to make a hike through one of the planet’s last great tropical jungles. A rainbow flash of macaws screech overhead and sleepy children in dugout canoes emerge from the emerald forest; their curiosity masked by dark eyes and shy smiles. The unearthly roar of howler monkeys shatter a lively dawn chorus and our day truly begins. We offer you an expedition experience like no other as we follow this water highway and lifeline, visiting the river people in villages and port towns along the way.

We are usually guided by the local guides who can take us into the pristine forest and very good places for birds, monkeys butterflies and other wildlife. We will also visit Indio tribes who live deep in the forest with little contact with white men.
